A blockchain & cryptocurrency meetup where AAX, a world-class exchange, is introducing young people in Nigerian universities to the opportunities that abound in the industry for both new and existing adopters
Nigeria, 12 April 2022—One of the biggest cryptocurrency markets in the world, Nigeria continues to witness increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies. Blockchain and cryptocurrency awareness and education contributes to this adoption, with more and more people, particularly the youth, being introduced to this innovation. Soon, many new users get to benefit from the opportunities that abound in the blockchain & crypto industry. Apart from financial empowerment, career development and job opportunities through knowledge and understanding of blockchain & cryptocurrency is a major benefit. Such was the case when AAX, a world-class exchange with a mission “to help ground digital assets in the real world and bring the benefits of sound money to everyone”, organized the March edition of AAX Meetup, a blockchain & cryptocurrency awareness program, across the campuses of 12 Nigerian universities.
Before the meetup date, AAX had a one-week publicity movement in the different campuses by sharing event fliers and pasting posters on campuses and environs. This made the AAX meetup reportedly the talk of the town.
The long-anticipated AAX meetup was held on 8 April 2022. It was filled with lots of activities as AAX publicity and awareness of the meetup had combed the campuses.
At the meetups, AAX Ambassadors talked about career opportunities in blockchain. The teeming Nigerian youths who attended the meetups had so much to learn about the benefits of blockchain technology, its crypto application, and how AAX makes adoption a breeze for both new and existing adopters.
The AAX Meetup was held in 12 Nigerian universities onsite. Two online meetups are scheduled to hold this week. In the 12 schools combined, AAX had over 800 persons in attendance. The 12 universities are as follows:
